Growing an Azalea indoors can be a rewarding challenge, with the proper care you can keep your azalea blooming year after year. 

Azaleas have certain temperature requirements, they prefer to be in a cooler environment, with temperatures between 60-68 degrees. This is a great plant for people who keep their homes cooler. 

This plant wants to live in an area with medium bright light. 

The most important part of this plants care needs is water, do not let your Azalea dry out, keep the soil evenly moist. Think of a kitchen sponge that has been run out, its damp to the touch but not soaked. The best way to water your Azalea is by setting the pot in a deep tray and watering thoroughly from the top, allow the water to drain out into the tray and then leave it for about 15-20 minutes, this gives the soil a chance to reabsorb some of the water. After 20 minutes dump the extra water out and let your azalea finish draining.
